I had originally ordered a replacement lens after acquiring a set of shooting glasses. I checked through the details and chose what I thought was the correct size but it turned out that the lens holder I had was not the same brand as the frame. This meant that the lens arrived too small for the lens holder. I contacted JHS who called me back, they recommended I sent back the lens with the frame and lens holder so they could take a look. Not long after they received my parcel I was called and it was explained that the lens holder was a different brand so therefore was slightly larger that first thought. It was suggested that they could either send back the lens, lens holder and frame for me to purchase the correct size holder. Alternatively, along with returning my bits, they could make a lens to fit the lens holder already with the frame. This would be at an additional fee but they were kind enough to charge me less for the second lens. I opted for the second lens which arrived promptly along with the frame and the first lens. I cannot fault the service I received and would highly recommend JHS to anyone who needs a lens made and would use them again if and when needed. Thank you
Great addition for my glasses and really aid in my shooting
I have been using my new prescription Shooting glasses now for about two months. I am very very pleased with them! the clarity when picking up the target is excellent and they seem to be doing well in all weather conditions! Would highly recommend them
Review a little delayed whilst I try out the Anschutz lens holder and my prescription lens. The holder screwed in as expected to a standard rear sight, albeit aesthetically it wasn't quite horizontal when fully in - more the sight than the holder I would think. But that didn't detract from the lens being adjusted and EXACTLY centred over the centre of the rear iris. As a late returner to smallbore target rifle, I still use the club weapons so this will need to be put on/off on each occasion, and that's unlikely to change anytime soon. The lens holder looks and fits beautifully, but I am cautious at how long it will be before I cause damage or bend it. That could become an expensive consumable! From 1st contact to delivery, JHS were brilliant. I called Simon to ask a few questions and he happily sorted out my queries. I simply uploaded my recent prescription and they seamlessly did the rest. From wearing glasses which not only got entangled with earmuffs, caused double vision of the foresight- and its no mean feat to decide which one I wanted to shoot at, to using the holder and JHS prescription lens are a real game changer. Highly recommended if you wear glasses and want to improve both comfort (definitely) and scores (Maybe).

The orange to brown tint is working perfectly in the sunny conditions we are having.They provide much better peripheral vision than standard glasses and give much better definition in shadows under trees.

My right eye had deteriorated recently. The optician could find nothing dramatically wrong but my prescription had changed, hence the need for a new shooting lens. I’m now shooting at or above my average again. Thank you.
Have waited to give this review as I needed my normal specs to be delivered and get used to them. Delivery was excellent, lens as prescribed, did a 60 shot Scatt session today. Happy Bunny

Nice deep lenses ideal for shooting when your face is against the gun stock, I like the spring loaded frames and the wrap around ear curve very comfortable

It has been a pleasure once again to deal with JHS Eyewear. I originally purchased my shooting glasses from them and they were excellent. Following a break from shooting for a couple of years, my prescription had changed so I wanted to update the lenses. The website was easy to use, Simon got straight back to me with regards to a couple of queries and the glasses duly arrived when he said they would. All I need to do now is hit something! The glasses are the right size to offer protection and a very clear field of vision. The adjustability is a feature I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. It is great to have because most of my shooting is looking upwards and raising the glasses on my nose is very helpful. Good and personal service - you are not dealing with an AI bot..!!
Great service and speedy delivery. The centreing device is handy for aligning the lens perpendicular to the target.
The translucent eye cover appears to be an excellent solution for addressing master eye issues. I have personally found it to be highly effective, as it facilitates shooting with both eyes open and enhances peripheral vision, which in turn allows for quicker target acquisition. The ability to lift the cover between shots is also a significant advantage for me, surpassing the utility of a permanent patch. Indeed, it represents my most suitable alternative to switching shoulders.
A very useful product delivered very quickly and really helped counteract left eye dominance with shooting sports.
